Tape residue on door

Tape residue on school door. As board member/ custodian I like to do stuff like this on weekends with no kids around. plan is to apply WD-40 multi use to one strip and WD-40 specialist degreaser to another, let it soak for 10 minutes and wipe it of. Just to see if there is a difference.

Step 1: Apply WD-40 multi purpose.

Apply WD-40 multi purpose first. I think a brush would have been better for the job. Can't really see it, but it is soaking in.

Step 2: Apply WD-40 degreaser.

Apply WD-40 degreaser to other strip of tape residue. a lot easier to apply from the can. Will the degreaser detape as well ??? We shall see.

Step 3: Rub a dub dub

Now for the wipe test. The residue now comes of with minimal effort, but the multi use leaves more of the sticker behind. Reapplying, and/or waiting longer would most likely have solved that issue. But at any rate in the 10 minute soak time allotted both, the degreaser is the clear winner.

Step 4: And there you have it.

Door is now clean. Crowned Champ is WD-40 Specialist Degreaser- now also Detaper.
