I rescued my grandkids' toys that had been left out in the harsh winter conditions, suffering from rust and corrosion. The trucks' wheels were seized, and the play garage's elevator was stuck due to a rusty and stubborn turn handle.
Project Repair:)
Truck Wheel Repair: I applied WD-40 to the corroded wheel axles, loosening the rust and corrosion. After letting it sit, I worked the wheels back and forth, freeing them from their stuck positions.
Play Garage Elevator Repair: I applied WD-40 to the turn handle and elevator mechanism, targeting the areas where rust and corrosion had formed. After letting it sit, I worked the turn handle back and forth to restore smooth operation.
Project Outcome:)
The toys are now restored to good use. The trucks' wheels spin freely, and the play garage's elevator operates smoothly. WD-40 protected the metal parts from further rust and corrosion.

WD-40 brought these toys back to life. I'm thrilled with the results and grateful for its help in making these toys fun again for my grandkids! The precision pen step by step was very easy to use. You can press down harder or lighter and depending how much flow u want. I am going to look around for more great ideas to repair..simplest things can also have big rewards.
